West Bengal: Don’t come to school with Tilak, teacher ordered students; protest by ISKCON

Hinduphobia is rising in Bharat at an alarming pace. Now, a fresh case has been reported from the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, where a teacher allegedly told Hindu students not to wear Tilak in school.

In Raghunathganj block of the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, Raghunathganj Girls’ High School is situated. A teacher of the school forbade Hindu girls from wearing Tilak and Mala.

When the student told her parents, the situation took a different turn.

Hurt by this, local Hindus, as well as other parents, reached in front of the school. Also, a team of devotees of ISKCON reached in front of the school.

Yesterday, on the 14th of June, the locals saw a unique kind of protest. Sadhus and devotees with local Hindus were doing Hare Krishna kirtan in front of the school gate. Large numbers of people also gathered to witness the unique protest.

Soon, a police team reached the school from the Raghunathganj Police Station. The Police talked with the parents and locals and alleviated the situation.

Although, the Headmistress of the School tried to avoid the situation. She said that she had no idea about all this.
