West Bengal-based Facebook group is organising a painting competition titled “Against Hindu Terrorism”

Hinduphobia is on the rise in Bharat. A fresh case of that phobia has come from West Bengal. An online Facebook group is organising a painting competition named ‘Against Hindu Terrorism’.

The name of the Facebook group is ‘Ankiyeder Adda’. Although the group is based in West Bengal, there are many members from neighbouring country Bangladesh. The group admins recently posted several pieces of content targeting the majority Hindu community.

In several posts by admin figures, it is described that they must fight against Hindu terrorism. They also posted that ‘Sangha’ is spreading terrorism in the country. To combat this fascist mentality of murdering Muslims by saying ‘Jai Shree Ram’, the painting competition is organised, written in several posts.

The group admins also announced to give prizes for the best three paintings.

Notably, if the posts are scrutinised, it can be seen that Communist people run the group. So far, several netizens condemned this and demanded legal action against it. But, as of now, no visible action has been taken.
