Repeated attacks on Hindu festivals: a well-planned conspiracy to kill the festive spirit of Hindus

Gone are the days when Hindu festivals were used to be treated an an auspicious occasion, where entire society used to celebrate together, when festivals were considered as an opportunity to spread joy, love, and festivities. Unfortunately, the liberal-secular-Islamist cabal has attacked our festivals and transformed them into days when Hindus are restricted in the name of ‘security and maintaining communal harmony’.

The situation has turned so bad that anything and everything associated with the Hindu community has become intolerable to the Hinduphobes within so-called ‘minority’ communities and their liberal-secular counterparts. They try everything, constitutional or un-constitutional, to kill the festive vibes of the Hindu community in any part of the country.

We have seen a disturbing trend, where various restrictions are imposed on Hindu festivals. We have seen how some so-called ‘secular’ governments have issued orders to curb public gathering, public celebration, or even processions. We have seen how Section 144 has been imposed in various states in order to ‘maintain social harmony, maintain law and order, and to ensure that social peace is maintained’, especially on Hindu festivals.

On the other hand we know how radical Islamists attack the Hindus, especially on the festival days. For many years now, we have been witnessing widespread attacks on Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti, Saraswati Puja and other festival processions across the country. We have seen how radical Islamists attack Hindus, and their apologists sitting in administration, government, media, and other institutions offer cover to them. How can someone forget last year’s vicious attack on Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri, Delhi?

And have you forgotten the MVA (Maha Vikas Aghadi) government’s diktat on Hindu festivals in Mahasrashtra. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government announced restrictions ahead of Holi, it announced guidelines for Holi mandating celebrations should end by 10 pm and completely banned the use of loudspeakers.

One such administrative restriction was imposed by Congress Government in the Barmer district of Rajasthan during Holi. The Barmer district collectorate imposed Section 144 with relation to the festival so that restrictions are put in place on the Hindus of the region. Rajasthan, which is known for kite flying and various customs associated with this practice, had also imposed Section 144 and complete ban on kite flying in Udaipur during Makar Sankranti.

On February 15, 2023, in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, when Hindus were installing decorative Toran Dwar or welcome archways for Mahashivaratri celebrations, they were pelted with stones and the arch/gate set on fire. About one dozen people, including police officers, were injured during this violence. The incident took place in the Panki Bazar area close to a mosque, allegedly a ‘Muslim area’.

Do you know the outcome?

A heavy police force was deployed in the area due to the heightened tension. In addition, Section 144 was imposed and the internet was shut down. Later a ‘peace committee’ was formed, which banned the use of DJ and even banned the procession movement in from of the mosque, which falls in the so-called Muslim area.

They are indeed giving a message that the so called ‘Muslim Areas’ must remain inaccessible to Hindus, and this is the first step to exert their dominance in a specific area. Then comes the next step, when they kick out Hindus from ‘their’ areas, the way they did with Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir.

Well planned attacks on Hindu festivals

As we said, it is a well-planned conspiracy to demean and attack the Hindu festivals, so as to scare or frustrate Hindus from following their customs and festivities. For example, on Mahashivratri, Hindus are preached about ‘not wasting milk’, on Diwali, they are instructed to not burst crackers in the name of ‘environment conservation and protection of pet & stray dogs’.

On Raksha Bandhan and Navratri, these Hindu-haters talk about patriarchy. On Holi, the so-called ‘animal lovers’, who otherwise enjoy eating animals, keep on crying that Holi colors are harmful for pets and strays, while these same people savour a turkey on Christmas, and keep their eyes closed when rivers of cow and goat blood flow down the streets on the occasion of Eid. Holi also ‘wastes water’ as per deracinated elites, but the litres of water their golf courses, luxury resorts, IPL stadiums and swimming pools guzzle are conveniently forgotten.

If things continue this way in this Hindu-hating system, the day is not far away when orders asking Hindus to stop worshipping ‘idols’ will be issued because that will be considered ‘offensive and hurtful’ to Abrahamic ‘minorities’. Because while the chants of “Allah hu Akbar” and “Nara-e-Taqbeer” inside the Jamia Milia University against Hindus playing Holi are ‘secular’ and ‘peaceful’, only Bhagwan knows which slogans and songs related to Holi can create law and order disturbances in the largest state of the country.
