VHP launches massive Dharma Raksha Abhiyan: One million families to join campaign against conversions and cow slaughter

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has launched a massive campaign titled “Dharma Raksha Abhiyan” to safeguard the spiritual, cultural, and social fabric of Hindu society. The Kashi Province unit has set a target of reaching ten lakh Hindu families between October 5 and November 5. As per Jagran, the campaign focuses on raising awareness about issues such as religious conversion, Love Jihad, cow slaughter, and temple land encroachment.

Door-to-door outreach across 22 districts

As part of this drive, VHP workers will carry out door-to-door visits in more than 2,000 villages and towns across 22 districts, urging Hindu families to unite for the protection of Hindu Dharma. According to Organization Minister Nitin, the campaign seeks to revive a sense of collective duty among Hindus. “Our activists will reach every household to discuss issues threatening Hindu existence. We seek voluntary support from families committed to preserving our Dharma,” he said.

The campaign also aims to promote self-reliance and transparency within the community. VHP representatives will highlight how certain anti-Hindu organizations receive foreign support to fuel divisive activities. The Parishad is encouraging Hindus to strengthen indigenous initiatives that protect their culture, temples, and traditional values through local participation and contributions.

Education and employment-oriented initiatives

VHP State President KP Singh stated that the organization is expanding Sanskarshalas, Gaushalas, Veda Vidyalayas, Nursing Centres, and other institutions focused on both cultural and employment-oriented education. Currently, over 40 Sanskarshalas and several Ekal Vidyalayas are functioning across Kashi Province. These institutions aim to serve areas vulnerable to conversions and help communities remain connected to their roots.

Reviving Hindu dharmic values

In 2022, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) carried out a similar Dharma Raksha Abhiyan across the nation from December 21 to 31, coinciding with Swami Shraddhanandji’s martyrdom day on December 23. During that campaign, the VHP reported saving 62 lakh Hindus from religious conversion, bringing 9 lakh individuals back to their original fold, rescuing 20 lakh cows from slaughter, and protecting 25,000 Hindu daughters from the clutches of Love Jihad. The initiative also witnessed widespread participation through Havan-Yagya, Katha-Pravachan, Shobha Yatras, and Dharmic awareness programs across the country.

The Dharma Raksha Abhiyan stands as a continuing movement to protect and preserve Hindu Dharma, the moral, spiritual, and cultural foundation of Bharat. By addressing issues like forced conversions, population imbalance, and temple autonomy, the VHP seeks to foster unity and awareness among Hindus. Anchored in the spirit of national integrity and religious harmony, the campaign embodies the vision of a self-aware, culturally rooted, and spiritually strong society devoted to safeguarding the eternal principles of Dharma and religion.
