West Bengal: 7 Rohingya Muslim infiltrators are arrested in New Jalpaiguri

Infiltration through the unfenced areas of the Bharat-Bangladesh International borders is continuing. Muslims, including Rohingya Muslim infiltrators, are using unfenced areas of North-East states, especially West Bengal, Assam and Tripura, to enter Bharat illegally from Bangladesh. Recently, the arrest of seven Rohingya Muslim infiltrators from New Jalpaiguri proves this fact.

On 29th of May, Wednesday, RPF personnel identified seven Rohingya Muslim infiltrators in Sambhalkanti Express. RPF immediately informed GRP, and they were arrested.

The arrested Rohingya Muslim infiltrators are identified as Jubera Begum, Rehena Akter, Asia Begum, Hasina Begum, Nur Hakim, Saddam Hossain and Ajnur.

During the primary interrogation, arrested Rohingya Muslims said that they used to live in the Kutupalang refugee camp in Bangladesh. Through the help of an agent, they entered Bharat a few days ago.

They also informed that they entered Bharat through Tripura border. From there, they reached Badarpur railway station in Assam in a rented car. From there , they boarded the Sambhalkanti Express. They were planning to reside permanently in Bharat.
