Muslim infiltration from Bangladesh continues. This time, the Rajasthan Police arrested 2 Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators for illegally residing and working in Ajmer.
As per the reports, the arrested are Nahid Hussain(21) and Mahmuda Akhtar(30). They both are residents of Bangladesh.
The Police also recovered fake Adhar Cards and other documents, with an address of 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
During primary interrogation, the Bangladeshi citizens informed that they entered Bharat through the unfenced borders of West Bengal. With the help of an agent, they were able to cross the international borders. And for this, they paid ₹ 15,000 each.
The Police also said that Mahmuda had visited Bharat earlier. She had travelled and worked in several cities of the country. So, this time, she came to the country with her brother.
Bharat shares long borders with Bangladesh. But, it is also a fact that in several parts, there is no fence. After so many years, the government has failed to secure our borders with Bangladesh. In many places, there are open borders. So, Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators target those open borders. Also, those places are heaven for the cow smugglers. Although BSF remains vigilant, infiltration and smuggling are not stopping.
Also, due to open borders, residents of the bordering villages face attacks from the ruling gangs. As smugglers take the cows through the field, crops get destroyed. And that’s why open borders are a threat for the demography and the national security, say experts.
