In the latest case of love jihad from Madhya Pradesh, a Muslim named Yusuf trapped a Hindu woman by posing as a Hindu. However, his true identity was revealed due to his Aadhaar card. The case was reported from the Banganga police station area of ​​Indore, where a Hindu woman lived separately from her husband.

According to the information received, a Hindu woman was living separately from her husband in the Banganga area of ​​Indore city. Seeing the woman alone, a man named Yusuf took advantage of the opportunity, and he gradually befriended the woman. He told the woman that he was a Hindu. When Yusuf saw that the woman had become his good friend and that she had started trusting him, he proposed to her, saying that he loved her. The woman fell into his trap. After this, the accused raped her after promising her marriage.

One day when Yusuf was with the woman, the victim chanced upon Yusuf’s Aadhar card on which the Muslim name ‘Yusuf’ was written. When the truth was revealed to the woman, she felt cheated. Furthermore, she realized that she had become a victim of love jihad. When she tried to talk to the accused in this matter, he started beating her. The victim managed to save her life, reached the police, and lodged a complaint.

Banganga police registered an FIR on the basis of the woman’s complaint. The police also arrested the accused, Yusuf, late in the night on 3 November. At present, further investigation is being done. It is noteworthy that within the last 2 weeks, several incidents of love jihad have taken place in Indore, where Hindu girls were trapped by Muslims who lied and made the women victims of love jihad.
