West Bengal: Unknown miscreants put fire in BJP leader’s home, two-year-old child injured, allegations against the TMC

In a shocking incident, unknown miscreants targeted the home of a booth-level BJP leader’s home. They allegedly put fire on the house from outside. A two-year-old child was injured in the incident. The child is now undergoing treatment at the Malda Medical College and Hospital.

The incident has been reported from Rasulpur village under the jurisdiction of the Kumarganj Police of the South Dinajpur district of West Bengal. Sunil Chakraborty is the booth president of the BJP. On the night of the 4th of March, Sunil and his family were at home. His wife and two-year-old child were in the house. Her child was sleeping in a room.

At night, suddenly, his child cried loudly. Sunil and his wife rushed to the room and saw that the bed in which the child was sleeping was on fire. They immediately extinguished the fire. But, by that time, the child got burnt partially.

Sunil and his wife rushed to the Balurghat District Hospital. There, the child was admitted. But, as the condition of the child deteriorated, on-duty doctors referred the child to the Malda Medical College and Hospital. The child is now undergoing treatment there.

This incident created political strife, as usual. BJP leaders alleged that TMC-backed goons are behind this. However, TMC denied all the allegations.

Sunil Chakraborty said, “I will file a complaint as soon as my child is recovered.”
