On-duty BSF jawans arrested two Bangladeshi cow smugglers along the Bharat-Bangladesh border of Samsherganj of Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Friday. BSF also recovered three cows from their possession.
The two arrested Bangladeshis are identified as Sorjul Seikh(24) and Anarul Seikh(24). They both are residents of Chanpai-Nababhanj in Bangladesh.
As per reports, the arrested Bangladeshis entered Bharat to get cows from their Bharatiya partners. In the wee hours of Friday, those smugglers were taking the cows towards the international border at Nimtita. On-duty BSF jawans of 115 no. The battalion apprehended them and recovered the cows. Later, after primary interrogation, BSF handed them to Samsherganj Police.
Yesterday, on Saturday, Samsherganj Police produced them at Jangipur Sub-Divisional Court and they were sent to police custody.
