An active BJP worker Shambhu Das was allegedly murdered by TMC backed in goons in Coochbehar district. Shambhu Das was resident of Tiyadah village under Kisamat Dashgram Gram Panchayat of Dinhata- 2 block.
Shambhu Das was an active worker and he was actively campaigning for upcoming panchayat election. Also, his sister-in-law Bishakha Das is a candidate from BJP.
His father Naren Das said, “Yesterday night, some people of the area called Shambhu Das. After that, he didn’t return. When we searched, we found his blood stained body in the field.”
He alleged that TMC backed goons murdered his son. He was actively campaigning for BJP in that area, that’s why he has been murdered. On the other hand, local TMC leaders denied the allegation.
