Killings of BJP workers in West Bengal continue. This time, Asim Saha was brutally murdered in Islampur town under Uttar Dinajpur district.
As per sources, Asim Saha was an active BJP worker and was associated with Yuva Morcha. He was also a small shop owner. After the result of the recent Panchayat election, some goons were allegedly threatening him for money. They also demanded gunda tax if he wanted to run his shop. But he refused to give the money.
Yesterday, a group of goons reached the shop of the deceased BJP worker. They stabbed Asim Saha inside his shop repeatedly and left the spot. Locals rescued Asim and rushed him to Hospital. There he died.
As per sources, police already arrested a youth named Muhammad Sahil in the murder of a BJP worker Asim Saha. Also, the police confirmed that there is no political or communal angle in this murder.
Meanwhile, BJP’s district leadership declared a 12 hours Strike in protest of this brutal murder.
