In a heartbreaking incident unfolding in Jalpally, Telangana, a 13-year-old girl has fallen victim to a horrific assault and murder perpetrated by 31-year-old Islamist Mohamad Mohin right in the middle of their “holy month Ramzan”. The disturbing details of the crime have left the neighborhood stunned, and the perpetrator, Mohd Mohin, already married with four children, stands accused of the brutal rape and murder. The horrifying ordeal unfolded over a span of a year and a half, during which Mohin deceived the unsuspecting victim, concealing his marital status.
The young girl’s mother, a daily wage laborer, took swift action upon learning of her daughter’s ordeal, lodging a formal complaint and relocating to sever all ties between her daughter and Mohin. Tragically, Mohin managed to track down the girl once more, leading to a fatal encounter, and her efforts proved futile in the face of the relentless predator. During a confrontation regarding his marital status, Islamist perpetrator Mohin viciously attacked the girl, ultimately strangling her and bludgeoning her with a rock, resulting in her untimely demise.
Based on reports from The Hindu, shortly after the discovery of a young girl’s body near a sports complex in the Katedan area of Mailardevpally late on March 28th, Thursday night, authorities swiftly took the perpetrator into custody. Rajendra Nagar, DCP Ch. Srinivas, disclosed that the victim was reportedly romantically involved with perpetrator Mohin Ahmed, an electrician residing in the vicinity with his wife and children. Allegedly feeling pressured by the girl’s insistence on marriage, Ahmed purportedly devised a plan to end her life. According to official statements, he lured her to a secluded location and fatally bludgeoned her. Ahmed has since been detained, and the victim’s body has been transferred to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem examination, as per law enforcement sources.
The Islamist perpetrator Mohamad Mohin has been apprehended by authorities and faces charges for his alleged crimes. In earlier days, Telangana had witnessed such cases where minor girls suffered brutal assaults and became victims because of shameful acts from Islamist predators.
