Severed body parts of a woman found in a train 1000 km from Indore; victim identified as Meera Ben

The missing hands and legs of a woman, whose body was found at Indore railway station have been discovered by the police. These body parts were found on a train about 1000 kilometres away in Rishikesh, Haridwar.

The woman’s body was initially found in two parts inside a train at Indore railway station, with both her hands and legs missing. For the past two days, the police have been searching for these missing parts. They were finally located in Rishikesh.

According to the police, a sweeper found the severed hands and legs while cleaning the train in Rishikesh. The train left Lakshmibai station in Indore on Saturday and arrived in Rishikesh on Sunday (9 June) evening. The body parts were found in the sleeper coach of the Ujjain Dehradun Express.

The police have identified the woman as Meera Ben, as her name was written on the severed hand. They have now sent the complete body for post-mortem examination. The matter is being treated as a murder case. The police are reviewing footage from over 80 CCTV cameras between Mhow to Indore and Ujjain in Dewas to gather more information.

The woman’s body, found in two pieces and stuffed in separate bags under a passenger seat, was discovered at Indore railway station. The police estimate her age to be around 25, and further investigations are underway.
