Saurabh brutally attacked by Muslim family, his private parts burned with hot iron rod: MP

In Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, a man named Saurabh faced a horrific ordeal in his neighbourhood. A woman named Shabina, along with her family members, including her husband, brother, sister, and mother, called him to her house and brutally assaulted him. They tied him up, removed his clothes, and repeatedly burned his private parts with a hot iron rod.

The incident occurred in Nayi Abadi Rupeta village of Nagda town, where both Shabina and the victim, Saurabh, lived as neighbours. They used to have casual conversations until Shabina became enraged over something and lured Saurabh to her parental home in Pehar Badnagar. There, Shabina, along with her husband, sister Shabana, brother Arbaaz and mother Shakeela, tied him with a rope. After this, they took off his clothes and started hitting his entire body, including his genitals, with hot iron rods.

Fortunately, villagers heard Saurabh’s cries for help and alerted the police. Saurabh was rushed to the hospital for treatment, and a case was filed at the Badnagar police station.

Nitish Bhargava, Additional Superintendent of Police, stated that the villagers were outraged by the incident and almost resorted to vigilante justice. However, with the timely intervention of the police, all the accused were apprehended, and evidence, including the iron rod and mobile phone used in the crime, was seized. One of the accused is still at large.
