Islamist Salauddin arrested for molesting female doctor at MY hospital, proposing marriage in Urdu letter: Indore

A female doctor at MY Hospital has accused a 62-year-old Islamist man of molestation. The man, identified as Salauddin from Azad Nagar in Madhya Pradesh’s (MP) Indore, has been coming to the hospital for a month to have his nails treated. During this time, he harassed the doctor, often eyeing her with inappropriate intentions.

The situation escalated when Salauddin wrote a letter in Urdu proposing marriage to the doctor. Although she did not understand the letter, someone who could read Urdu explained its content to her. This was not the first time Salauddin had misbehaved; he had behaved similarly earlier but had been given a warning and released.

On Monday (22 July), after yet another troubling incident, the hospital staff detained him and handed him over to the police. The authorities are currently interrogating him.
