Noida – Doctor Shehzad allegedly raped a minor girl, arrested in an encounter with UP Police

A shocking case of rape of a 10-year-old girl came to the fore in the Phase 1 police station area of ​​Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. As per the Police sources, the accused of rape was a doctor was living in her neighborhood, and he committed this heinous crime.

The victim girl has been admitted to a district hospital and currently undergoing treatment. Police sources have confirmed that the accused doctor has been arrested After an encounter by a team of Police Station Phase-1 police on Friday morning. The accused was shot in both his legs.

The Police was made aware about this incident on November 2, when the victim’s father had lodged a complaint of rape with his minor daughter by the accused Shahzad at Police Station Phase-1. The accused hails from the Sector-8, JJ Colony, Near Jama Masjid, Mother Dairy Wali Gali, Noida. Upon receiving a formal complaint, police has immediately formed multiple teams to nab the culprit.

Amid the ongoing investigation, the Police received the input that the accused was hiding in the ruins in the park of Sector-10. When the police team reached the spot and tried to arrest the accused, he started firing at the police.

The police also retaliated and shot both the legs of Shehzad. Police has also recovered one illegal pistol, 2 live and 2 empty cartridges from his possession. The accused doctor has been sent to the hospital for treatment and medical attention.
