Muslim cop Wasi Khan becomes Rinku Shukla to sexually exploit Hindu girl: Gonda, UP

Sub Inspector Wasi Khan of UP Police assumed the false identity of ‘Rinku Shukla’ to entrap a Hindu girl in Gonda district and sexually exploit her for 3 years.

Khan kept raping the woman after promising to marry her. After some time she found out his true identity, but later she was told that his parents had refused to accept his marriage to a Hindu girl – in other words, she would have to convert to Islam. The shocked girl has been appealing to higher police authorities for justice ever since. It is alleged that many in the police department tried to ‘settle’ the matter to save their colleague Khan.

Finally, SP Akash Tomar asked the woman police station to investigate the matter. After finding the allegation to be true in preliminary investigation, an FIR was lodged against SI Wasi Khan for rape, fraud, forced conversion and other sections of IPC.

The girl said that by the time I found out he was a Muslim, I was too deep in the relationship. Later he refused to marry her and vacated his room. Even his cell phone became unreachable. One day, she saw him with another girl. That is when she decided to fight for justice as she did not want another girl’s life to be destroyed.
