In Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, an Islamist named Mohd Sameer entered the house of a Hindu family. He had a gun in his hand. He put the gun on the head of a 14-year-old minor girl of the Hindu family and started forcing her to say ‘Assalamu Aleikum‘ along with ‘Allahu Akbar‘. Not only this, he has been after the minor girl for 2 years and keeps harassing her and has been forcing her to convert to Islam. The Hindu family has alleged that Sameer is from a powerful and influential Islamist family in the area, and even his family does not listen to him. Now the victim’s family has sought refuge from the police and demanded justice.

According to media reports, this case is from Vindhyachal town of Mirzapur district, where the bully Sameer was harassing the Hindu girl by threatening her for the last two years. Accused Sameer has forcefully entered the victim’s house many times. He used to blackmail the girl and her brother by threatening to beat them up. Sameer’s house is near the victim’s Hindu family. When the girl’s family complained about this to Sameer’s family, the bully family started pressurizing them and tried to beat them up.

The limit was crossed recently when Sameer entered their house with a gun pointed at her head and started forcing the girl to say ‘Assalamu Aleikum‘ and ‘Allahu Akbar‘. In this case, the police have registered a case on the complaint of the family and have also arrested some people.

Mirzapur SP Abhinandan told the media that the victim girl and Sameer used to talk to each other. After this, the boy started pressurizing her. At present, an FIR has been registered in the case and teams have been formed to arrest the accused. As per reports, some people have also been arrested, and further investigation is being done by the police.
