A tragic incident unfolded in the Kalindi Kunj area of Delhi on February 27th, where a 15-year-old minor boy e-rickshaw driver fell victim to a heinous crime orchestrated by Islamists Mohammad Aqib, Mohd Sahil, and Mohd Aamir. His body was recovered from the forest area in Kalindi Kunj on February 28, and the post-mortem suggested that he was sexually assaulted and then strangulated to death. Upon the victim’s mother lodging a complaint, the police promptly initiated an inquiry into the incident.
The horrifying sequence of events unfolded when Mohammad Aqib reportedly lured the minor boy into a meeting under false pretenses. Upon meeting, the Islamist perpetrators callously robbed the boy of his belongings before abducting him. What followed was a nightmarish ordeal as the perpetrators subjected the boy to unspeakable acts of violence and physical harassment. Reports indicate that the boy was subjected to a brutal gang rape and subsequently murdered through strangulation with a cloth and multiple stab wounds.
In an attempt to cover up their heinous crime, the Islamist perpetrators callously disposed of the boy’s body in Jamia Nagar. Additionally, they discarded the stolen e-rickshaw in Noida after profiting from the sale of its battery. The community has been left reeling in shock and outrage at the magnitude of the brutality exhibited by the Islamist assailants. Based on India Today reports, Aakib, apprehended on Saturday, has confessed to his involvement in a grievous crime alongside his companions, Aamir and Sahil, driven by desperate financial circumstances. According to his statement during interrogation, the victim was acquainted with them, and they persuaded him to transport them to Kalindi Kunj.
Upon reaching the isolated forest area, two of the trio subjected the victim to physical abuse, following which all three collectively strangled him to death before discarding his body. Despite their attempts, they failed to sell the victim’s e-rickshaw in Noida. Consequently, they disposed of the vehicle and sold its battery.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a thorough investigation into the incident, leaving no stone unturned to bring the Islamist perpetrators to justice. This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the grave threat posed by crimes against minors and the pressing need for collective efforts to eradicate such atrocities from society.
