Landlord Mohd Afroz arrested for raping 4yr old child of tenant: Muzaffarpur, Bihar

In Muzaffarpur’s Qazi Mohammad Pur police station area, a horrifying incident occurred where a 42-year-old landlord Mohammad Afroz raped his tenant’s 4-year-old child. The girl’s screams alerted her mother and nearby people, who rescued her from the man’s grasp. The enraged crowd then beat up the landlord and handed him over to the police.

A couple from Hajipur was living in a rented house. The landlord’s family had gone to their native village, leaving the 42-year-old son Afroz alone at home. The little girl would often play near his room and had gone there last Saturday when the assault took place.

When the girl screamed, her mother rushed to the room, followed by nearby people who heard the commotion. They beat up the landlord before the police arrived. The police took the accused into custody, got him treated at Sadar Hospital, and seized evidence from the scene.

City ASP Bhanu Pratap Singh confirmed the accused’s arrest in connection with the case under POCSO, and added that he is being sent to jail.
