Kerala: Malayalam filmmaker Jasik Ali arrested on charges of sexual assault on a minor girl

“Kerala: Malayalam filmmaker Jasik Ali arrested on charges of sexual assault on a minor girl”, Organiser, August 21, 2023:

“Amidst a shocking turn of events, a filmmaker from Kerala’s Nadakkavu was apprehended by the police over charges of sexual abuse. The accused, Jasik Ali, makes Malayalam films. He has been held under charges of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. He promised to cast a minor victim in his film against sexual assault.

The accused has been identified as Jasik Ali (36), a native of Kelambath in Kuruvangad, Kozhikode. He is now under arrest, the police nabbed him from a house in Nadakkavu, where he had been hiding for several days.

Jasik Ali is facing multiple charges, and a number of FIRs have been registered against him. The first was registered in November 2022, alleging the abduction of the minor girl…..”
