Hindu life has no value; Habib attempted to crush Ram beneath an SUV in Delhi

The Delhi Police have booked two youths who allegedly tried to crush a Hindu eatery owner and several others with their car, following an altercation over Rs. 5.

According to the Delhi Police personnel, this unfortunate incident took place in North Delhi’s Signature Bridge area on Tuesday morning.

According to the DCP (North) Manoj Kumar Meena, the complainant, Ram Chand, 34, is a resident of Pakistani Hindu refugee camp, he runs a small eatery near Signature Bridge Road. He stated that the two youth came in an SUV around 8.30 am and asked for two glasses of water.

“Ram Chand gave water to them and asked them to pay Rs 5. They refused to pay, which led to a heated argument between them, which led to this subsequent assault,” added the DCP.

A video of this incident has been doing rounds on the social media. In the video, an SUV can be seen swerving close to Ram Chand and several other people in the vicinity, in an attempt to mow them down and taking sharp turns on the road and going the wrong way while making a U-turn.

After the incident, local people took Ram Chand to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital where the doctor examined him but could not find any visible injuries.

“A case of criminal assault and rash driving was registered against the accused persons on Chand’s complaint,” the DCP added.

The vehicle owner of the Mahindra Nuvosport SUV was traced to one Mohd. Habib. “We are trying to trace the occupants in the car,” the officer said.
