Mohammad Wali Khan, a father of four kids, was arrested after he engaged in grooming jihad of a minor, sexually assaulted her several times and threatened the young victim. This case was reported from Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh and the accused has been charged under the Madhya Pradesh Religious Freedom Act 2021, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), and for rape.

Around 10 months back, the victim’s mother received missed calls from unknown numbers. When the minor called back, Khan started a conversation. When he understood that the girl is a Hindu, he introduced himself as Nishant Kumar. The missed call tactic is a favorite amongst grooming jihadis and the two started ‘talking.’

Khan is from Mau town and the victim lives in Endori some 60 km away. To groom the young victim, the Islamist pedophile hid the fact that he was married with four children and that he was a Muslim. Endori Police station in-charge Nagesh Sharma said that Khan met the victim several times and raped the minor, promising ‘marriage.’  

Recently, the teenager came across Khan’s identity card and his lies were busted. During the conversation, the victim understood that she had become a victim of grooming jihad and Khan clarified that he was the father of four children. He tried to ‘talk’ his way out of the situation but failed and the girl asked him to leave forever. Khan left then but was not done with his crime.

On March 4, he came back to the victim’s village and demanded to meet the minor. The girl’s mother objected to his actions and asked him to leave but Khan turned abusive and threatened them. Villagers thrashed Khan and he ran away. 

Local police were intimated and a case was registered. Endori police later arrested Khan, presented him in court and he was remanded to Gohad jail.
