Grooming jihad and rape of minor Hindu girl using false Hindu identity: Baghpat, UP

Another case of grooming jihad was reported from Uttar Pradesh where an Islamist used a Hindu identity to groom his victim. A few years ago, Mohammed Shakir assumed the false identity of Shivam and groomed a minor girl. He forced her into a physical relationship and secretly filmed the act.

When the victim came to know that he was a Muslim, she ended the relationship and tried to move on. Shakir started blackmailing her and recently sent those pictures and videos to the victim’s fiance. She lodged a complaint and the local police has now arrested him.

Both of them are residents of Baraut in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. She completed her graduation last year. Shakir targeted the victim when she was a minor in Class 11. He began by stalking her on her way to school and eventually succeeded in grooming her and they entered into a physical relationship.

She lost her father a decade ago and lives with her mother and grandfather who works as a security guard, to provide for the family. Her sisters are all older than her and married.

When she found out that Shakir was not a Hindu as he had claimed, she informed her family and they visited Shakir’s house to ask him why he had lied about his religion. Shakir’s sister Gulfasa abused them and asked them to leave.

The victim asked Shakir if he would allow his sister to elope with a Hindu man. This enraged the grooming jihadi who threatened to physically harm her if she ever repeated the same.

Shakir had been using the visuals to blackmail and sexually exploit the victim.

In November, her mother and grandfather arranged her marriage to a prospective Hindu groom. Within 2 weeks, her fiance received intimate photos of her and Shakir, sent by the accused via WhatsApp. The young man did not break the alliance but offered the girl time to reflect and tackle the situation.

Supported by her family, the victim approached the police, and a complaint of rape and intimidation was filed against Shakir.

Swarajyamag contacted the victim over the phone and she told them that her marriage has been postponed and she worried that it might even get canceled. She expressed relief that she finally told the police about her abuser and stalker.

Shakir has been booked under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) and IPC sections related to stalking, causing hurt, rape and criminal intimidation. Swarajyamag reported that the Baraut police station remained evasive when they asked them about Shakir.

Baghpat Police official Twitter handle confirmed the arrest of the accused. Their press statement released on 16th December showed a picture of Shakir after the arrest.

Every day, cases of grooming, fraud, rape, blackmail & sexual exploitation or forced conversion & marriage – colloquially known as ‘Love Jihad’ – are reported from across the country. But movies like Atrangi Re continue to gaslight Hindus that they are the ones who are ‘intolerant’ for opposing ‘inter-faith’ relationships. A ‘real love story’ is one between a Hindu girl and Muslim man, the heroine says in the movie.

Despicable and juvenile mobile app like BulliDeals/SulliDeals, which could very well be false flag operations to hijack the narrative, invite national & Western media’s outrage and lightening police action. But the actual targeting of Hindu girls and women in Bharat, Pakistan and Bangladesh gets brushed under the carpet – the anti-conversion law that is offering some hope to victims is tarred as ‘anti-Muslim’ and ‘anti-Christian’.

Even in the digital world, it is Hindu girls who are objectified and fetishized more than anyone else – exhibit A, exhibit B. But this also fails to get any attention. All this shows how so-called ‘secular’ institutions and our elites have completely failed Hindus in our Republic.
