“In a heartbreaking turn of events, the culmination of an interfaith relationship has resulted in the death of a Hindu individual. Santosh Kumar, a resident of Bahuar village in the Vaishali district of Bihar, had married 20-year-old Mosrat Khatun approximately three months ago in Delhi.
Upon returning to his village just ten days prior, Santosh’s lifeless body was discovered hanging from a tree in the fields on January 15. His family alleges that Mosrat’s family is responsible for his death, prompting a police investigation.
The incident unfolded in Bahuar village, under the jurisdiction of the Patepur police station in Vaishali district. The discovery of Santosh’s body hanging from a mango tree in a communal area of the village prompted immediate attention.
