Bhopal Gang Rape Case: Farhan raped a Hindu student by entering her room, her brother heard her screams on the phone

The nefarious activities of the organized gang of Muslim youths in Bhopal in raping Hindu girls after befriending them and then blackmailing them by making videos show how well planned they carried out such incidents like Ajmer. The police also showed reluctance in taking action in this sensitive case from the very beginning.

As a result, the morale of the Muslim youth kept increasing, but when the girls decided to take action, the police had to register a case. So far, five cases have been registered in five police stations of Bhopal. 12 people have been made accused in this.

Apart from the main accused Farhan Khan, cases have been registered against Ali, Sahil, Saad, Abrar and Nabeel. They are residents of West Bengal and Bihar. One of the accused Hamid committed suicide last year. Cases have also been registered against Farhan’s sister Zoya and her husband.

SIT is investigating the case

The Police Commissioner has formed an SIT and handed over the responsibility of investigation to it. Police investigation has revealed that Farhan Khan, the main accused of the organised Jihadi gang that trapped Hindu girl students studying in Bhopal’s TIT College, was blackmailing a victim since 2023. She was a minor at that time. Earlier, her sister was trapped by this gang.

Victim’s brother heard the victim’s screams on the call

It is being told that after completing her schooling, the girl went to Indore to escape from Farhan. There she was living in a room in Bhanwarkuan police station area. When Farhan came to know about this, he followed her till Indore. Late night on April 8, Farhan entered her room.

During that time, the student was talking to a cousin on the phone. During this time, Farhan suddenly started beating her and raped her. Amidst the sudden events, the girl and her brother continued to speak over call. When the brother heard her screams, he dialled 100 from another phone and requested for help for his sister. No help was received.

FIR lodged after student insisted

When a complaint was made to the police in Bhopal, here too the police, with the intention of hushing up the matter, filed a challan against the accused Farhan for disturbing the peace, but when the student remained adamant the police had to register an FIR for rape and blackmailing.

When the police took Farhan on remand and interrogated him, the faces of many other Muslim youths in the organised gang were exposed.

Videos of 10 to 12 girls were found in the mobile

In the ITI College case, the police have found videos of 10 to 12 girls in the mobile of the accused Farhan. Female police officers have contacted some girl students and counselled them. They have been asked to file a case.

Many of them are not ready to come forward citing social stigma. Meanwhile, another girl has agreed to file a complaint. It is likely that the sixth FIR will be registered in this case. In this too, Farhan is the accused.

Action will be taken against those who are responsible

Harinarayanachari Mishra, Police Commissioner, Bhopal stated that, “This entire case is being seriously investigated by forming different SITs. If any negligence has been committed in the past, then that will also be investigated. Appropriate action will be taken against those who are responsible.” He assured the strictest of action against the accused.
