Assam: Sahajad, a street vendor from Uttar Pradesh, kidnaps a Hindu girl from Tinsukia, complaint filed

A case of alleged kidnapping has been reported from the Tinsukia district of Assam. The family of the kidnapped girl alleged that their daughter had been kidnapped by a Muslim youth named Sahajad and was taken to Uttar Pradesh.

As per the reports, the victim Neha Sahu is a college student and is a resident of Digboi. She has been missing since last Tuesday.

According to the complaint, on Tuesday, she went to the college and didn’t come back home. The family members tried to find her, but couldn’t locate her. The family members also talked to her friends, but the friends couldn’t give any clue.

Later, the girl’s family came to know that their daughter had been kidnapped by a Muslim youth from Uttar Pradesh. The name of the accused Muslim youth is Sahajad. Sahajad is a resident of Mahalka area of Meerut. For the last few years, Sahajad has been staying in a house in Adharam Complex with a group of other vendors. Sahajad works as a street vendor.

After this, the family lodged a complaint and urged the Police to recover their kidnapped daughter. As the case surfaced, members of the Hindu organisations expressed doubt that the Hindu girl might be a victim of Love Jihad. They also demanded the recovery of the Hindu girl as soon as possible. Otherwise, the girl might have been trafficked.
