In an alleged Love Jihad case, a Muslim youth forged his name and identity and trapped a Hindu woman in love. Later, the youth allegedly took around INR 12 lakh from the woman. The matter is under investigation now.
As per the reports, the Hindu girl is a resident of Guwahati town of Assam. Hamidul Islam, a resident of Rangia, concealed his name and religious identity and built a relationship with the woman. Hamidul Islam introduced himself as a Hindu. The youth allegedly built a good relationship with the Hindu girl and his family.
Later, Hamidul took around INR 12 lakh rupees from the girl on different occasions. But, a few months ago, Hamidul stopped talking with the girl.
When the girl searched for him, she found that she had been cheated on. Her lover is a Muslim and not a Hindu. Since then, Hamidul is untraceable.
Later, she filed a complaint in the Guwahati Police Station against Hamidul Islam. The matter is under investigation now.
