The body of Ankit, also known as Neelu Meena, was found in a vacant plot in Rajasthan’s Gangapur City. The 27-year-old’s face and head were crushed with stones, and his throat was slit. The main accused, Salman, along with his two minor associates, has been detained by the police. The murder is believed to be the result of a long-standing dispute between Salman and Ankit over a girl. Before the murder, Salman and Ankit had consumed alcohol together. The police are investigating the matter and taking necessary legal action.

The incident occurred near the district hospital in Gangapur City. Ankit, a resident of Binega village, was found dead in the plot. His body was identified, and the police sent it to the hospital for treatment and began investigating the case.

It was revealed during the investigation that Salman and Ankit had a long-standing dispute over a girl. On the day of the incident, they drank alcohol together, along with Salman’s two friends. An argument ensued, leading to Salman pelting stones at the victim and then slitting his throat with a knife. The two minors are also said to be involved in the crime.

After killing Ankit, the three accused dumped his body in the vacant plot and fled. The police have arrested Salman and his two associates. The investigation revealed that Salman had been planning the murder for several days. The knife used in the murder has been recovered.

The police are considering trying the case in a fast-track court based on the request of the deceased’s relatives. Compensation for the family is also being arranged.
