“I learnt about digital public infrastructure in India,” says Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi believes that India’s digital public infrastructure growth will set the stage for India to be in an enviable position in the coming years.

Khosrowshahi is in India and has been interacting with several industry leaders. According to Khosrowshahi, India’s digital public infrastructure will lead to an era of remarkable innovation on a large scale over the next five to ten years.“The team has introduced me to many aspects of our business in India as well as some of the innovation that’s happening in India … I learnt about digital public infrastructure in India — Aadhaar, payments systems to ONDC, and a bunch of the surrounding technical infrastructure that is being built.It’s unique,” Khosrowshahi told ET in an interview.

“There’s nothing like that anywhere in the world. It’s setting the stage for five to ten years of what will be incredible innovation at scale, putting India in an enviable position, and one that we want to play a part in by innovating as well,” he added.Dara Khosrowshahi assumed the role of chief executive at Uber Technologies in 2017 during a turbulent phase for the San Francisco-based mobility firm…..”
