Yet another gut-wrenching case of grooming jihad (love jihad) against a vulnerable Hindu girl, followed by her gangrape by several members of the same Muslim family has emerged from UP.
The victim, a resident of Balia, was pursuing a nursing course in Prayagraj, UP. She had lost her father in 2021 to the Covid pandemic, and in this emotionally vulnerable state she met lawyer Mohammad Alam, posing as Anuj Pratap Singh alias Sonu, on the Clubhouse app. When the girl fell unwell, Sonu took care of her and even took her once to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. He behaved like a devout Hindu while visiting temples and even applied tilak regularly.
He continued grooming her to gain her trust, and sexually exploited her in a hotel in Rambagh area of Prayagraj. When the girl became pregnant, he forced her to abort.
On February 24, 2022 the two had a court marriage. But the girl was shocked when she saw Alam’s real name on the marriage certificate and realized she had been tricked. When she confronted her ‘husband’, he assaulted her and locked her in a room. She was first thrashed, then drugged and sexually assaulted by Mohammad Alam’s brother Noor Alam, and other cousins.
The Hindu girl somehow managed to escape on August 13, 2022 and reached Colonelganj police station and lodged a complaint against her Mohammad Alam and his brother Noor Alam. But her ordeal didn’t end here.
Mohammad called her and threatened to not just kill her, but her mother and brother too if she didn’t withdraw the complaint. Scared, the girl gave a statement in court as Md. Alam wanted. Our police and courts, which know very well how such Islamist criminals openly intimidate and threaten their victims, failed to give her the confidence and counselling to pursue the case.
On October 11 2022, the accused took her to a secluded place in Kaushambi and fired two bullets at her. Despite being injured, she again managed to escape and was admitted to Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital. Again, the Kokhraj police booked Md. Alam and his brother Noor Alam, this time on attempt to murder charges.
Again, Mohammad Alam called her and threatened to kill her family and dump their dead bodies in a sewer. He sent a threatening message stating, “Withdraw the case of Section 307 and do not file a complaint of Love Jihad. If you will do so, I will defame you and also throw acid on you. You will not be able to do anything. Media and Police are mine. Hindu Murdabad. I will see your Yogi government. Within three days I will get you shot or I will throw acid on your face.”
Fearing for her and her family’s life, the Hindu girl has penned a letter to Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma for protection.
The girl told media that other family members of Mohammad Alam, including his mother, are also involved in the racket of trapping girls of other religion. Another younger brother Shah Alam had also trapped and married a Hindu student, who later died in suspicious circumstances, she claimed. His elder brother even became Christian to acquire the property of a Christian girl. In Sonam Sharma’s suicide case too, it had emerged that stalker Rafiq Siddiqui’s mother had threatened the poor Hindu family to get Sonam married to her son, and his other brothers too are said to be preying on Hindu girls.
The accused Md. Alam has also put up a WhatsApp status proclaiming, “What I did will give me jannat” – a belief that other grooming jihadis and Islamists predators targeting Hindu girls have also expressed in the past.
The indoctrination to spread Islam by any means possible has taken deep root among Indian Muslims, who have been radicalized by an endless stream of maulanas, trained by hardline Islamic schools like Deoband/Barelvi etc, and who are given cover fire by secular-Islamist politicians like Asaduddin Owaisi, Arvind Kejriwal, Azam Khan, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, Badruddin Ajmal etc.
This is the situation of Hindus in UP, under a government led by the supposed ‘Hindu fascist’ Yogi Adityanath. This is not to say that Yogi ji has not improved the law & order situation and brought much needed development to UP. His administration has been like a welcome shower for people of UP, after a prolonged drought of misgovernance, corruption, violence and Islamist pandering. The situation before Yogi is best exemplified by this Hindu man from Meerut who explained how Hindu girls going to school/college were harassed in broad daylight by Islamist youth during the SP era.
But the confidence of Islamists like Mohammad Alam is still sky-high because they know the Indian criminal justice system is weak. Anti-Hinduism and minorityism is so deep rooted in the fabric of the secular Indian Republic, that influential sections of police, bureaucracy, judiciary, civil society and the entire English-language media are ever-ready to downplay crimes by Islamists and demonize the disorganized Hindu ‘majority’ instead.
How Islamists like Mohammad Alam manage to assume a fake Hindu identity and roam around in Hindu temples without fear of retribution is another point to ponder for Hindu society. Relying solely on the secular state to tackle such identity theft and desecration of our holy places, would be foolish to say the least.
This case has many features found in majority of love jihad cases:
1. Girl is targetted because she is in emotionally weak state (usually because of death of a parent)
2. Girl is completely kept in dark about true religious identity of Muslim man: man makes elaborate attempts to deceive the girl such as wearing tilak/kalava, praying at mandirs etc.
3. When girls finds out, the man unleashes Islamic brutality on her: rape, mutilation, murder
4. Man uses goonda style threats to keep girl in fear: here, he is threatening to throw acid on her face. In most cases, the man threatens the girl that her family (old parent, young brother/sister) will be killed in brutal fashion
This is the reality of Love Jihad. The astounding thing is that the left-liberal Hindu denies that there is any such thing!! Of course, they know there is such a thing, and it is becoming more and more rampant, but they stick to their political stand of denying it anyway.
Who will save Hindu daughters? Yesterday also a case came of a Hindu mother of a 3 year old being killed using a sickle by a Muslim man (who claims to be her lover: since the woman is dead, we don’t have other side of the story). The man killed her when 3 year old daughter was watching, and the daughter is mentally badly traumatised. No one cares, and no one is discussing these cases on national TV.
