Hindu temple robbed of valuables & 70000 rupees: Sindh, Pakistan

According to local reports, a Hindu temple, Ramapir, located at Sindh’s Tando Adam, was robbed of valuables, including cash. The robbers broke into the temple by breaking the main gate of the temple, leaving a trail of destruction and collapse.

Robbers stole priceless religious items, cash, a silver murti, which was kept for worship and a huge sum of Rs 70,000 rupees from the donation box along with other valuables items. It also came to light that the thief destroyed various valuable objects kept in the Mandir.

A few days ago, another Hindu Mandir of Jhole Lal near this temple was also robbed. Jhole Lal Mandir is very famous for the mass marriage of poor girls. Robbers took away 200 girls’ wedding paraphernalia stored in the Mandir for the mass marriage program.

Other reports indicate that Muslims are occupying another Hindu Mandir in Pakistan’s Hyderabad. Pakistan Untold shared a video featuring a Hindu family weeping, lamenting the encroachment of Muslims on their house and temple.

The Pakistani government has failed to protect its minority groups. Hindu girls are forced to convert to Islam and get married off to aged men. Furthermore, businesses and the lives of the Hindu community members are always in danger. Recent incidents, like the theft from the Hindu temple of Baba Ram Dev Ji in Tando Adam, show that Hindu minorities in Pakistan do not feel safe or protected. Despite numerous calls for action, the government has not adequately protected or fixed these important problems, making the minority groups feel dangerous and alone.
