Bangladesh: Unknown miscreants attack and vandalise two Hindu temples in Panchagarh district

Attacks on the Hindu temples never stop in the Muslim majority of Bangladesh. Now, cases of attack and vandalism have been coming from the Panchagarh district.

On the night of the 27th of April, unknown miscreants attacked two Hindu temples in the Panchagarh district. Both the temples are situated in the Deviganj Upazila.

In both the temples, Kali Mata was worshipped. But on that night, unknown miscreants vandalised the temples as well as the Murtis. The Murtis were broken and thrown out.

As per the sources, no case has been filed, nor has any investigation started.

Experts say that some Islamist groups are constantly spreading anti-Bharat and anti-Hindu propaganda among the ordinary people in Bangladesh. Those groups are backed by the Islamist party Bangladesh Nationalist Party(BNP). That’s why the cases of attacks on the Hindu temples are rising.
