Central Military Intelligence mentions half a lakh infiltrators live in Kerala

A report released by the Central Military Intelligence mentioned that there are half a lakh illegal infiltrators among the workers from other states in Kerala. The green communists and Islamist extremists who hire Bangladeshis and Rohingyas call these illegals ‘guest’ workers.

It is reported that labourers, mainly from the neighbouring countries of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar, are among the foreign workers in the state who have fake Aadhaar cards. Counterfeit Aadhaar cards are made in various places in Bharat, including Kerala.

These intruders are using fake Aadhaar cards to stay in different states under the address of Bharatiya citizens. It has also been found that Bharatiya nationals who are criminals are using forged Aadhaar cards to leave the country.

It was discovered that Aadhaar centres in Madhupur (Jharkhand), Nagaon (Assam), Kalimpong, Nadia, Uttar Dinajpur (West Bengal), and Perumbavoor in Kerala were infiltrated, and counterfeit Aadhaar cards were made. In addition to Perumbavoor in Kerala, fake Aadhaar cards have also been produced from Aadhaar centres in Malappuram.

Based on the military intelligence report, the BSF (Border Protection Force) has intensified surveillance along the border with neighbouring countries. The Coast Guard has also extended surveillance in coastal states, including Kerala.

A year ago, the central intelligence agencies had also hinted that infiltration was taking place in Kerala using fake Aadhaar.

In February, HinduPost reported how the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) had foiled an attempt to manufacture fake Aadhaar cards through the Akshaya Center in Malappuram district. Allegedly, an attempt was made to organise fake Aadhaar cards using AnyDesk, a remotely controlled software, through the computer systems of the Akshaya Center in Alingal near Tirur in Malappuram district.

It was found that mafia gangs are behind this, producing Aadhaar cards for infiltrators in Bangladesh border areas of West Bengal. The central government has blocked them from enrolling in Aadhaar in these areas, which is why the systems at Akshaya Center in Malappuram were used for fraud.

The intrusion was carried out from Internet Protocol (IP) addresses in Bengal and Jharkhand. Under the Aadhaar Act, making fake Aadhaar cards is punishable by a fine of up to one lakh rupees and imprisonment for up to three years.

Investigations conducted by the Anti-Terrorist Squad have shown widespread use of these fake cards occurs in Kerala. An estimated 30 Lakh workers from other states are employed in various districts in Kerala.

With so many new arrivals every day, keeping an accurate count of them is almost impossible, claim authorities. Under federal law, no citizen of the country can be restricted or prohibited from entering a state.

These mafia groups pose a threat to national security because they organise and give infiltrators Bharatiya documents. Documents like Aadhaar may even make it to the terrorists through them. Authorities also believe there is a spy connection to Pakistan.

There are allegations that local Islamist extremists employ and protect such infiltrators. They are cheap labour since they are in hiding and can be utilised for illegal activities. Since most are Islamists, local Muslims look the other way towards them and their crimes.

It is reported that fake Aadhaar centres operating without a signboard inside ‘Bhai Markets’ in Perumbavoor produce Aadhaar cards with different names and addresses using the same image. (Labourers from North Bharat are called Bhai in Kerala.)

Will such laxity of laws and scrutiny cost us dear?

Are such possibilities in the law prompting infiltrators to stay in the state by making fake Aadhaar cards? Kerala Police is also taking the matter seriously in the context of increasing cases of theft, murder, and organised crime involving foreign workers in Kerala. In the background of the report’s release, will the inspection be intensified in the coming days?
