“Navneet Jha | HENB | New Delhi | Dec 23, 2025:: Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi on Tuesday to condemn the lynching of a Hindu man in Bangladesh, triggering heightened security and diplomatic strain between the two neighbours.
The protest was organised in response to the killing of Dipu Chandra Das, a 25-year-old garment factory supervisor, who was allegedly lynched by a mob in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, on December 18. According to reports, Das was accused of blasphemy before being beaten to death, after which his body was set on fire.
Hundreds of supporters and activists from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal, and various Hindutva organisations participated in the protest, vociferously condemning the Bangladesh government for allegedly perpetrating Hindu killings, which are reportedly escalating daily at the hands of Islamists and fundamentalist elements……”
