Islamic conversion gangs are active in Bangladesh, four Hindus including minors converted

The persecution of Hindu minorities is regularly happening in Muslim-majority Bangladesh. Attack on the Hindu temples, abduction of Hindu girls and land grabbing cases, Islamic conversion gangs are now targeting Hindu families.

A case of conversion is coming from the Sylhet district of Bangladesh. A Hindu family of Habiganj Upazila has become a victim of the conversion gang.

According to the reports, Shambhu Das used to live in Habiganj with his three minor sons. Few months back, Islamic conversion gang targeted him. Shambhu was brainwashed.

Eventually, Shambhu fled from home with his three minor sons. He went to the famous Islamic preacher, Maolana Pir Charmonai. There, he was converted in Islam. Leaving his Hindu name, Shambhu took a new islamic name. His three minor sons were also converted.

Soon after their conversion, Islamists published a video on Facebook, describing the conversion of the Hindu family.

However, the wife of Shambhu Das didn’t convert. She has already filed cases against this conversion. She also filed another case to get back her children.

Notably, according to Bangladesh’s law, it’s illegal to convert minors. So, this conversion will be declared invalid and the mother will get back her children, think several Hindu activists.
