Persecution of Hindu minorities continues in Bangladesh. Abduction, rape, conversion, attacks on Hindu temples is a daily affair. This time a minor Hindu girl(16) is abducted by Islamic radicals in Chitalmari Upozila of Bagerhat district.
Her mother alleged that on 31st May night, she and other members of the family were going to neighbour’s house to take shelter as their house is damaged due to storm. On road, bike borne radicals abducted their daughter Bithi Mondal(16). She said that they identified Naim Sheikh.
She also alleged that since the complaint filed, they are receiving constant threats from islamic radical elements. They also threatened the family to drive away from the country. Since then, they have been living in fear.
