“Australian authorities are in contact with their Indian counterparts following the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach earlier this month, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed on Friday.

“We are aware of the reports of the individuals responsible for the Bondi Beach terrorist attack. Australian authorities are in touch with our authorities on this matter,” MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at the last press briefing of the year in New Delhi.

The mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration on 14 December left fifteen people dead and dozens more injured. The alleged perpetrators have been identified as Sajid Akram, 50, originally from Hyderabad in Telangana, and his son Naveed Akram, born in Australia….”
