Rahul Gandhi’s Anti Bharat tirade in the US has no Takers

Rahul Gandhi’s shocking howler from America has everyone  pondering whether it is a sinister and malicious attempt to play divisive politics  by trying to pit one religion  against  the other or is he pandering to some evalangical Christian lobby in the US.

Though it has become a habit for Rahul to indulge in mud slinging against  Bharat whenever he is abroad it was assumed that in the role of the leader of opposition  he would be more responsible in his conduct.

His comment that the fight is if the Sikh is  allowed  to wear turban, Kada and  allowed   to go to a Gurudwara in Bharat is ignominious, outlandish, malicious,  hilarious &  far from the truth.

Perhaps  he momentarily chose to forget what the Congress  did to the Sikhs in 1984 and how the tormentors & perpetrators of riots were rewarded  with plum posts be it Kamal Nath, Sajjan kumar or Jagdish  Tytler.

His late father had said then that when a big tree falls the earth shakes. This was when 3000 Sikhs were slaughtered and burnt on the streets of Delhi.

If any injustice  has been done to the Sikhs it has been in 1984 when the late Rajiv Gandhi was the PM which Rahul conveniently forgot.

The Gandhi’s  have not tendered in an apology even 40 years after the bloody massacre and it was left to the former PM Manmohan Singh to tender in a feeble apology.

If this was an attempt  to divide  the intertwined Hindu Sikh community in Bharat it will fall flat on it’s face or was it an attempt to embolden the khalistani elements in the US & Canada.

Either way it is unbecoming  of a leader of opposition of a parliamentary  democracy to dish out factually incorrect data &  indulge in anti Bharat rant for narrow political gains.
