POK is our own, day not far when its people will return to Bharat: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently reaffirmed Bharat’s stance on Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), stating that its people are part of Bharat’s extended family and expressing confidence that they will voluntarily return to the Bharatiyas mainstream in the future.

Speaking at the CII Business Summit, Singh emphasized Bharat’s commitment to unity and national integrity, asserting that those separated by geography and politics would eventually reunite with dignity and self-respect.

Singh highlighted the deep cultural and emotional connection that many in PoK feel toward Bharat, suggesting that only a small fraction has been misled. He expressed hope that PoK would one day declare, “I am Bharat, I have returned,” reinforcing Bharat’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.

Regarding Bharat’s approach to Pakistan, Singh made it clear that any future dialogue would focus solely on two issues: terrorism and PoK. He warned that terrorism is no longer a viable strategy, as Pakistan has realized the heavy price it incurs. His remarks followed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent call for Pakistani youth to rise against terrorism and reclaim their nation’s future.

Singh also underscored the importance of Bharat’s ‘Make-in-India’ initiative in bolstering national security. He cited the success of Operation Sindoor, where indigenous weapons systems enabled precise strikes on terrorist hideouts and military installations. He noted that Bharat’s defence exports have surged from under ₹1,000 crore a decade ago to a record ₹23,500 crore today, demonstrating the country’s growing self-reliance in defence manufacturing.

Drawing an emotional parallel, Singh likened the situation in PoK to that of Shakti Singh, the younger brother of Maharana Pratap, emphasizing Bharat’s unwavering faith in its brothers and sisters across the Line of Control. His remarks echoed Modi’s recent address following Bharat’s targeted strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor, which were carried out in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

  1. Any article on Pakistan occupied Jammu, Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, especially the ones which talk about our country’s attempt to reclaim it, should in my opinion, also remember those victimized Hindus in the region who were killed, forcibly converted to Islam, their female population raped, tortured, sold in markets and kept as sex slaves. It is more than land we lost.

Please also sensitize people on what is the impact of a radicalized Mohammadan population of these regions on reunion, since a majority of Hindus choose either running away from Mohammadan terror challange, or try to lick them in appeasement or try to be invisible. Only a small minority like those in HinduPost and few other publications chose to tackle the radical Mohammadinism. Are we brave enough to plan for retaking forcibly converted Hindus to Hindu and Shraman religions, upon reclaim of these regions? It seems we are actually ready for even more accelerated self-destruction, given the percentages of passive and “secular” Hindus. Soon our country’s state would be similar to Bangladesh’s, if Hindu organizations do not plan and act.
