Serious allegations have emerged against Rahul Kul, who goes by the name Kul ‘Chacha’ and is the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) from Pune’s Daund.

Hindu youths threatened & false cases filed against them

Daund’s Yavat Village has witnessed repeated insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by Jihadists for more than a year. The statue of Shiv Chhatrapati was vandalized in Yavat village two months ago. Similarly, Bhagwan Mahadev and Bhagwan Kanifnath vigrahas in Varvand village were vandalized. However, instead of being punished these Islamists are being protected using ‘mental illness’ and ‘drunk behaviour’ as excuses. Furthermore, in Varvand village, Patas Police’s API Sheikh beat up the Hindu youths allegedly at the behest of Kul ‘Chacha’.

Hindu organizations and villagers were in no mood to accept the repeated insult of their Chhatrapati. Hindus from Yavat and surrounding villages in the Tehsil passed a resolution to never forgive and support those who back Islamists involved in love jihad, land jihad, and vandalization of Devi-Devatas.

In addition to passing the resolution, Hindus got together to undertake a rally in Yavat to oppose these anti-Hindu acts. The rally saw thousands of common Hindus participate in the rally. Frightened by the unity of Hindus, Kul pressurized targeted Hindu youths using the local administration and police. What can be a bigger travesty of justice than the arrest of Hindu youths for standing up for Hindu Dharma in the land of Shivchhatrapati?

Four separate FIRs were registered under 24 grievous sections, including attempt to murder, illegal mob attacks, obstruction of government work, and inciting Hindu-Muslim riots among others. These false cases were reportedly filed on the recommendation of Rahul Kul on whose direction Daund Police, Yavat Police, and the entire Daund Tehsil administration is working. These youngsters were not just targeted but are languishing in Yerwada Jail for more than 50 days because the Police administration refused to accept cross-complaint from Hindus. Furthermore, when the parents of the youths approached the MLA to plead for their children’s release, he drove them away. A Baramati lawyer is said to executing the MLA’s agenda by misusing the constitutional provisions.

Kul’s conspiracies don’t stop here. He is accused of using his political clout and other measures to pressurize Hindu communities from carrying out the Jan Aakrosh rally. Organizers were also reportedly threatened and all possible means was used by Kul to ensure that Hindus don’t unite and to defame the community.

Kul ‘Chacha’ – betrayer of Hindus & saviour of Islamists

This is not a lone case and there are a series of allegations against Rahul Kul.

1) Daund slaughterhouse case – Then Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde had announced the closing down of the slaughterhouse in Daund. However, Kul is said to have lobbied to ensure that it remains running. He even got cases registered against Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj, Sagar Beg, and Late Shirish Maharaj More for organizing protests demanding the shutting down the slaughterhouse.

2) Khatik family case – Kul is said to be the man who ensured Badshah Sheikh gets bail. Sheikh had attacked a Hindu family belonging to the SC Khatik Community. Sheikh is also accused of raping a Jain woman. He is also believed to have pressurized the police to file cases against Khatik community youths under grievous sections.

3) He helped Kumail Qureshi who is accused of forcibly circumcising and converting a Hindu Valmiki community youth.

4) Kul ensured that no case was registered against Samir Sayyed who had assaulted a Hindu youth in Yavat village.

5) In the Pargaon Mandir demolition case, Kul donated 15 lakhs for a Dargah on the site, in addition to giving alternate land to the Waqf Board. However, no monetary or other help was given to the Hindu community and Mahadev Mandir on the site was left neglected.

6) It is not just Islamists but Christian Evangelists who have received favours from Rahul Kul. In the Pandita Ramabai Mission Christian conversion case, the Christian accused who tortured a mentally-ill female was helped by the MLA. He even blocked other Hindu MLAs from raising the matter in the Maharashtra Assembly.

7) Another very serious charge against Kul is that he has donated huge sums of money to an illegal Masjid in Daund District’s Kurkumbh Village. This Masjid is located near Phirangai Mandir. It is a three-storeyed structure and there are reports of illegal and anti-national activities being undertaken there.

8) He is also allegedly helping illegal Muslims from outside Maharashtra to settle in Daund District and also ensuring their land encroachments are ‘legalized’ and regularized.

9) A case was registered on Kul’s behest against a Hindu youth in Patas who had questioned an Islamist for his ‘Muslim Rashtra’ status.

10) After the release of the film Chhava, Islamists had made posts glorifying Aurangzeb and derogating Hindus. Hindus protested and got the accused arrested. According to local Hindus, the accused were released within 24 hours as Kul ‘Chacha’ dialled the police and got the accused released.

11) In Bhigwan, Hindus were pressurized not to register cases against Muslims who had assaulted them. Kul ‘Chacha’ went a step further and got false cases registered against the Hindu youths.

12) Kul even tried to suppress a 1200 crore drug case from Kurkumbh MIDC.

13) He is allegedly continuously pressurizing the police and administration so that the fake cases against Hindutvawadi Karyakartas are not withdrawn or dismissed. Locals have accused him of constantly harassing Hindutvawadi Karyakartas. It has come to light that his supporters even issued death threats to the Hindutvawadi Karyakartas.

14) He is reportedly constantly pressurizing the police and administration to ensure that issues of Hindu community remain unsolved.

15) Those working for Hindu causes are being targeted personally, attempts are being made to block their sources of income, and Kul ‘Chacha’ is threatening to get them jailed by filing false cases.

These are allegations that need to be taken very seriously by the party. People like Rahul Kul come to power using Hindu votes and then work for anti-Hindu elements, including the Conversion Mafia. On the one hand we have Kirit Somaiyya, who has been constantly raising his voice against illegal infiltrators and on the other, there are people like Kul who are misusing their position to settle Jihadists illegally in Maharashtra.

This highlights how deeply flawed the country’s democracy and electoral system is. This allows people like Rahul Kul to get elected on Hindu votes and then turn against the community. BJP can also not escape from its responsibility. The party must ensured that tickets are not given to such criminal anti-Hindu elements. It is hoped that CM Devendra Fadnavis will take these allegations seriously and act against Rahul Kul.
