West Bengal witnessed yet another dark night of Islamist aggression as unknown miscreants stormed into Ganapati Nagar near Uttar Narakelda Haat, Tamluk, and vandalized more than 50 Murtis of Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Kali. The Murtis, painstakingly crafted by local artisan Anil Chakra for the upcoming Lakshmi Puja and Kali Puja, now lie shattered—a brutal assault on Hindu faith and culture.
This is not an isolated incident. From one district to another, jihadi gangs are repeatedly desecrating Hindu Murtis and temples, spreading terror with alarming impunity. What once used to happen across the border in Bangladesh is now being enacted openly in West Bengal. The agenda is crystal clear: to slowly transform West Bengal into “West Bangladesh” and erase Hindu identity from its soil.

Yet, the state government sits silent, eyes firmly shut, as long as its 30% minority vote-bank remains intact. Votes have become dearer than the safety, dignity, and existence of Hindus. In the name of secularism, what prevails is sheer cowardice and betrayal.
Local residents are seething with anger. “If the police and administration do not act decisively, these jihadi attacks will spiral out of control. We cannot remain silent anymore,” warned Hindu leaders in the area.
The truth is harsh but undeniable: silence will only fuel further aggression. By tolerating these repeated attacks, Hindus are digging their own grave. A community under siege cannot afford to remain mute spectators.
This latest assault in Tamluk is a chilling reminder that Hindu survival in West Bengal now hangs by a thread. If the state machinery refuses to act, the people must rise and resist—because history has proven one thing time and again: cowardice invites annihilation.
