8 articles which show NYT’s propaganda war against Bharat

Observing NYT (New York Times) reportage on Bharat for a while now and it is very clear that their reports are skewed in a certain direction. What they do is no longer journalism but propaganda. Let me share a few examples to illustrate my point:

Let’s start with NYT reporting on Russia-Ukraine war. Cherry-picked data is used to claim that Bharat is financing the conflict when in fact Europe is the major buyer of energy from Russia. WHY make a pre-determined argument against Bharat?

The West has failed to control Russia through sanctions & is now hurting due to high energy prices. This article tries to portray Bharat as a ‘lucky’ beneficiary/ co-conspirator. WHY shift blame without any reason?

Recall NYT covid reporting? “This Is a Catastrophe” screamed a headline. The gory, insensitive piece gave exaggerated, unscientific account of deaths in Bharat & ignored numbers in many Western nations that exceeded Bharat. WHY the imbalance?

Read “Expanding Influence Abroad, Straining Democracy at Home”. It’s a collection of random, fact free assertions by the reporter. There are no quotes by real people, just opportunistic use of the phrase ‘experts say’. WHY make things up?

This is about a nationwide strike in Bhaart. Strike was a dud! Few stray organisations created some noise but life in all parts of Bharat went on normally. NYT readers were made to believe that Bharat had ground to a halt. WHY peddle falsehood?

Here NYT rails against the arrest of Teesta Setalvad. They paint her as a messiah of the victims, justify her anti-institution war & mention the actual charges against her – of falsifying evidence – in passing. WHY shill for an accused?

This article on the “blasphemy” protests focuses more on the fact that Nupur Sharma was a BJP spokesperson & less on what she said & why? WHY hide context & sequence of events and only present a one sided, dubious narrative?

Hate Speech in Bharat seems to be of great interest to NYT but their report somehow leaves out the judicial processes put in place to curb such incidents. WHY such lack of objectivity?

These are just some examples of how #NYTpropaganda against Bharat runs. Be it coverage of domestic issues or geopolitics, there’s a pattern of obfuscation, omission & misreporting. News from Bharat is always negative for NYT & her growth story is tempered with ifs & buts. WHY?

  1. Why the countries which breed, train & flourish terrorism like Pakistan are backed by western union countries? Why U.S. does put every effort to cutoff Russia but nothing effective is done against terrorist countries further why it does not seize the companies assests from its country that trade with terrorist outfits?

If, they claim to be superior their actions should show responsible behaviour but, what is clear a d evident that how these countries fund against the harmony of Bharat.
