Fed beef, forced abortions, child’s circumcision, Hindu girl trapped and raped for years by Badshah Khan: Bhilai, Chhattisgarh

In a deeply distressing case reported from Bhilai in Durg district, a 26-year-old woman has filed a complaint alleging that she was subjected to prolonged sexual exploitation, emotional manipulation, and religious coercion over a period of nearly ten years. The accused Islamist, identified as Badshah Khan (28), has been arrested and sent to judicial custody by the Bhilai Nagar Kotwali police.

According to the survivor, the ordeal began in January 2016, when she was only 17 years old. She met the accused through his business, Chhattisgarh Studio, which he allegedly used to approach young women under the guise of offering acting opportunities. The woman alleges that she was called to his residence and sexually assaulted. Over the following years, she was allegedly promised marriage and coerced into a relationship under false pretenses.

As per Jagran, the complainant stated that she became pregnant three times during the course of their relationship. She alleged that she was forced to terminate the first two pregnancies against her will. During her third pregnancy, she refused to undergo another termination, following which the accused allegedly compelled her to sign a document, reportedly written in Urdu, claiming they were married. However, the woman said no formal marriage or religious ceremony ever took place.

She further alleged that she was not allowed to practice Hindu Dharma and was pressured to adopt unfamiliar religious practices like the consumption of beef. According to her complaint, she was discouraged from visiting places of worship and from participating in cultural or religious activities. She also stated that she was physically assaulted on multiple occasions when she resisted.

The woman also claimed that her child, born from this relationship, underwent circumcision without her knowledge or consent, which she only learned about afterward. The incident caused her considerable distress, further compounding the trauma she had already endured.

This deeply unsettling case underscores the urgent need for stronger mechanisms to safeguard Hindu women from exploitation masked as personal relationships. The prolonged abuse, alleged forced religious coercion in this instance, reflect not just a personal tragedy, but a systemic failure in identifying and intervening in such exploitative dynamics early on. It is imperative that the judiciary takes a firm stand in cases involving such serious violations of human rights. The survivor’s courageous decision to come forward after years of suffering must be met with swift justice and deter similar incidents in the future.

Several such incidents have happened in recent years. This horrific incident is a stark reminder of the dangers many Hindu girls face when deceived into relationships by individuals with hidden, radical motives. These men often disguise their intentions through affection and false promises of marriage, only to later impose religious conversion, force cultural alienation, and destroy the girl’s identity. From forced consumption of beef to circumcising children without consent, these acts are not just personal violations — they are part of a larger pattern of religious coercion. Hindu society must remain vigilant, and young women must be aware and cautious. Protecting Dharma means protecting our daughters from deception, from exploitation, and from the slow imposition of radical ideologies under the guise of love.
