Suppose we get an urgent phone call from Vaikunta, and if a divine voice asks us to visit the divine abode, by sending the divine vehicle Sri Garuda, then how do we react? And if the caller is Sri Hari Vishnu Himself, then how would we feel? We would get very much delighted! But it was made possible only for a few staunch Vishnu devotees like Sant Thukaram and Sri Poonthanam Swamigal!
In this world, rich people can travel to many places as they like, and they can also visit any place in the world with their huge wealth. But no one would be able to visit the divine world, VAIKUNTA. Vaikunta cannot be visited by us with our money but one would be able to visit only if the person has done a lot of good karmas in the past births.
People belonging to a particular religion think that if they do terrorism in the name of their god, then after their death, they would be welcomed by a lot of beautiful girls in the heaven. They get these types of thoughts because they have been brain washed by their clerics. But for their bad acts, they only would be rewarded with stringent punishments in the hell.
VAIKUNTA is a place where Sri Hari Vishnu stays, and it is believed that in that divine world, we would not suffer from hunger, thirst and from any sort of sufferings in our life. Actually, the Divine people who live in the Vaikunta are also supposed to worship their Bhagwan Vishnu, and His Consorts, Ma Sridevi and Bhudevi, in order to spend their life peacefully at the Vaikunta.
However, one who reaches Vaikunta would never take rebirth. Most divine people don’t like to return to this earth, since they don’t prefer to suffer from the troubles and turmoil in this difficult world. Due to that, they used to meditate on Bhagwan Vishnu, to gain a permanent place in the excellent divine world Vaikunta.
In order to go to the beautiful celestial world after our death, we must aim to merge with the Supreme Being through our constant prayers and meditation. Since, once we become part and parcel of the great almighty, all of our sufferings would permanently come to an end, and thereafter there is no need to suffer from the chain of birth cycles again and again.
