‘Naanu Durga’ campaign: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti launches petition drive against ‘Love Jihad’ in Karnataka

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has launched a statewide awareness initiative titled ‘Naanu Durga – Shouryada Pratike’ to educate people, especially women, about the rising menace of Love Jihad and related Islamic exploitation. The campaign calls upon Hindu citizens to take a stand against deceitful tactics targeting Hindu girls and families under the guise of love and marriage.

Under this initiative, HJS has begun a petition drive aiming to collect 10 lakh signatures, urging authorities to take strict measures and spread public awareness on the issue. People can join the movement and sign the petition through the link HinduJagruti.org/Kannada/Navratri or by scanning the QR code shared by the organization.

“Wake up before it’s too late! We’ve already lost our children, and our sisters have been deceived- tomorrow, it could be your family,” reads the message from the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). This campaign reflects a growing concern that every Bharatiya should be aware of the rising threat of radical Islamist conversion tactics operating across the country. Cases such as the Maulana Jalaluddin conversion syndicate, where several young Hindu girls were reportedly trapped and coerced into conversion through blackmail and exploitation, highlight the severity of the issue. The Shraddha Walkar case stands as the most chilling example of what can happen when young women fall victim to deceptive Islamic ‘Love Jihad’ traps.

The HJS initiative urges Hindu girls to remain vigilant and take a firm oath never to fall prey to deceptive relationships designed to erode cultural and religious identity. The ‘Naanu Durga’ campaign thus stands as a strong movement encouraging Hindus to unite and take a decisive stand against the expanding menace of ‘Love Jihad’ in Bharat. Through this powerful message, the ‘Naanu Durga’ initiative by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti urges the public to remain vigilant and united against the growing threat of ‘Love Jihad’ in Karnataka.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has successfully conducted self-defense and empowerment training across 20 cities in 4 states, completing over 602 sessions and empowering more than 6000 youth. Alongside 375+ Shaurya Awareness camps, participants were trained in self-protection, pocket safety, and Love Jihad laws, equipping them with the skills and awareness to safeguard their families, loved ones, and Dharma. Free self-defense classes are now available across Bharat for schools, colleges, women’s groups, communities, and organizations. Guided by trained instructors, participants can gain confidence, strength, and safety skills at no cost. Hindus can register via the HJS website to empower themselves and protect their families and Dharma.

In a social media appeal, HJS Karnataka (@HJSKarnataka) requested that everyone spend just two minutes to support the campaign and share the message with friends and family. The organization emphasized that collective awareness and unity are vital to safeguarding Hindu women and preserving cultural values.

Let us sign this petition and take a sacred oath to protect our bahus, bahanas, and parivars, and to uphold our Dharma. We vow that our Hindu community will never bow to deceitful Islamic tactics or compromise on our faith and honor. With ekta, dhairya, and satarkta, we will stand unshakable, defending our Dharma, our people, and our sacred values.
