Addressing the gathering, the Kalki Peeth pontiff Acharya Pramod Krishnam asserted that India’s historical subjugation was not due to the strength of foreign powers but because of “traitors within the country.” He said that those who oppose Hindutva today are themselves part of Hindu society and cannot separate themselves from its cultural roots.
Launching a direct attack on leaders and parties that, according to him, are attempting to weaken Hindutva, Acharya stated, “Those who try to erase Hindutva will themselves be erased.” Without naming individuals directly, he referred to a senior leader of the Samajwadi Party and criticized the political narrative that seeks to draw a distinction between Hinduism and Hindutva, calling it an effort to weaken the nation.
