In a shocking triple murder case in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh, police have uncovered a grim conspiracy involving two Islamist brothers, Mokhtar and Arif Ansari. Investigations reveal that Mokhtar had a romantic relationship with the mother, Kaushalya Thakur, while Islamist Arif was involved with her daughter, Muskan. The brothers are accused of murdering Kaushalya, Muskan, and her younger brother, Mintu, in a meticulously planned act.
Skeletons discovered in a paddy field
The case came to light when skeletons of Kaushalya, her daughter, and her son, missing from Kusmi, were discovered in a paddy field in Dahejwar. The police arrested Islamist Mokhtar, a resident of Parswar Bhandaria, Jharkhand, after identifying the victims. Based on the reports from Jagran, during initial questioning, Mokhtar confessed to the crime, implicating his brother Arif as an accomplice.
Further interrogation revealed the disturbing details: both Mokhtar and Arif were romantically involved with the mother and daughter. Arif’s relationship with Muskan and Mokhtar’s involvement with Kaushalya eventually led to disputes. The brothers decided to eliminate the family after differences arose, escalating their relationship dynamics into a deadly conspiracy.
Murder of an entire family
According to police reports, the brothers first killed Muskan and Kaushalya. When Mintu woke up and witnessed the crime, they murdered him as well to ensure no witnesses were left. After committing the murders, the brothers disposed of the bodies in a field, cleaned up the crime scene, and fled on a motorcycle.
Following their arrest, the police presented both Mokhtar and Arif before the court, which ordered their detention. The investigation continues to unravel further details about this horrific case that has left the local community in shock.
