Muslim infiltration from Bangladesh continues. In the last 24 hours, 15 Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators were arrested from different parts of Tripura. The arrested Bangladeshi citizens are trying to go to Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata. The law enforcement agencies also arrested two Bharatiya citizens for helping the Bangladeshi infiltrators.
Arrested individuals have been identified as Shahadat Hossain, Trisha Akter, Raju Ahmed, Shah Alam, Shukadri Sheikh, Muhammad Biplab and Karimganj Sheikh. The Police also arrested two Bharatiya citizens, Ratan Pal and Shukla Sarkar, from the Sonamura area of Sepahijala district for helping the Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators.
During the checking in Panisagar checkpoint, the police detained the Bangladeshi infiltrators from a bus. During the interrogation, the detained Bangladeshi citizens showed fake Adhaar and PAN Cards. They also said that after entering Bharat through the Akhaura border of Tripura, they were travelling to Mumbai.
In another incident, the Government Railway Police(GRP) arrested 8 Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators at Agartala Railway Station. During the interrogation, the detained individuals said they were heading to Kolkata and Chennai. They were at the Agartala Railway Station to catch trains to those cities.
Muslim infiltration to Bharat from Bangladesh is enormously happening through the Northeastern states. And our law enforcement agencies have been trying their best to detain them. During the month of July, 2024, a total 47 Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators were arrested from different railway stations of North Frontier Railway, according to a report.
