“On Saturday (18th January), a mob of Bangladeshis crossed over the border and attempted to steal the standing crops of Indian farmers. The incident took place in Sukdevpur in the Malda district of West Bengal.
The Indian farmers confronted the Bangladeshi mob. While it began as a heated argument, the confrontation soon escalated to stone pelting.
Soon after, the Border Security Force (BSF) reached the spot and dispersed the mob. The Bangladeshis have claimed that Indian farmers jumped the fence and were cutting down their mango trees…….”
